As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited about what we can achieve together. One addition I am pleased to announce is the launch of Community Connection, Alberici’s new philanthropy committee. This initiative reflects our commitment to giving back and fostering a culture of generosity and social responsibility.

The committee will focus on four key areas:

We are seeking enthusiastic team members to join this initiative. If you’re interested in making a difference, please contact your Market Leader or Department Manager.

Thank you for all you do to make Alberici not just a great company but also a positive force in our communities.
Building on a Foundation of Safety: Reflecting on 2024 and Looking Ahead to 2025
2024 was an eventful year of immersing myself in the organization, visiting project sites across North America—encompassing university campuses, water treatment plants, locks, and manufacturing facilities. My top insights remain centered on the exceptional caliber of our teams, the effective use of talent and quality decision-making, and the grounded pride in our professionalism. I’ve come to understand our culture and the resulting environment as a place where safety thrives.

Looking forward to 2025, we are excited about our plans for safety at Alberici. We are focused on three key improvement areas: People – Process – Systems.

It has truly been an exceptional 2024. I am appreciative for all the people I have met this year who have graciously shared their insights and experiences to enhance my understanding of Alberici and the significance of this vibrant and prestigious company. I trust when you reflect on 2024, you recognize the growth and accomplishments achieved in your professional efforts. We come to 2025 with great enthusiasm and optimism for what we can create and accomplish in safety. These are strengths we all carry as we face the challenges that await us in 2025.

Here’s to making 2025 safe, healthy, and successful for all.

Insights from the COO
As we enter 2025, our operations leadership team, led by Will Chipley, Greg Trueman, and Phillip Lee, remains dedicated to building on our strengths while identifying areas for meaningful improvement. Together, we are sharpening our focus on initiatives designed to enhance the effectiveness of our work execution teams.

One key priority, as announced last year, is the ongoing Project Start-Up initiative led by Greg Trueman and Phillip Lee. This initiative ensures that our projects begin with the necessary tools, processes, and strategies to set them up for long-term success. Complementing this effort is a critical focus on enhancing our self-perform capabilities. Like Project Start-Up, self-performance is broad and multifaceted, influencing every aspect of our business. It encompasses ensuring proper pricing of work, establishing the right labor contracts, and implementing accurate cost coding to build a robust foundation of historical data—essential steps to drive Alberici’s efficiency and sustained success.

Why emphasize self-perform capabilities? As our core markets continue to expand, we anticipate new opportunities to leverage these skills on a larger scale. Seizing these opportunities requires that our self-perform teams are well-prepared from the outset. This preparation involves equipping them with the right resources and support, as well as fostering a culture of collaboration across departments to maintain excellence throughout project execution.

Ultimately, achieving these goals is a shared responsibility. By working together, we can continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients and reinforce Alberici’s reputation for rock-solid reliability.
Earl Ming, David Tomasula, and Kevin Merritt traveled to China in December to review a pre-assembled building with equipment that Alberici will be installing as part of P&G's Project Gemini in St. Louis.
The Wright City Wastewater Treatment Facility has been brought online to treat municipal wastewater. Alberici began seeding the new facility with “seed sludge” from a nearby wastewater plant on November 12, and the facility began treating municipal wastewater around the clock on November 25. The facility reached an operational steady state on January 2, and effluent samples collected indicated the treatment system was meeting all contractual discharge limits.
The first residents moved into the domiciliary building at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy. The long-term care facility is expected to open later this year.
Clients moved into the WashU School of Medicine BJCIH Vertical Expansion in St. Louis. The six-story, 160,000 SF expansion included wet lab research space, BSL-3 labs, and CMP clean room facility.
The Ulliman Schutte – Alberici Joint Venture celebrated the team working on theJames River Treatment Plant SWIFT & ANRI projects by hosting a sitewide luncheon. Team members were recognized for their efforts surpassing passing the 1 million work hour mark and acknowledged the over 1,500 individuals that have worked on the site thus far.
